Operation without intervention by the technical department
The cycle is started by staff in the room at the press of a button, or it runs according to a set schedule.
No daily or weekly task is added on your side.
For your role
The cycle is started by the staff working in the room, not by the technical department. The system reports its own operating status; from the Professional level, service connects remotely, and the fog also reaches the ventilation outlets. Below you will find the components, connections, the installation process and the division of service responsibilities.

Benefits for the technical department
We involve the technical department in project preparation, installation coordination and system handover. Day-to-day operation is handled by trained staff of the facility. Specialist maintenance, settings and regular servicing are provided by the manufacturer or its contracted service partner in the country concerned.

Sensors continuously monitor the operating status of the system. Alerts that the product needs refilling or that a service visit is required are sent via GSM on all four levels. From the Professional level, our service team carries out remote diagnostics over a secure VPN connection, which shortens the time needed to resolve a request.
We take the ventilation operating mode into account at the design stage. During the cycle it can stay at full output or be switched off.
Regular application also helps reduce the microbial load in the outlets and connected sections of the ductwork. It does not replace filter changes or technical maintenance.
The device bears the CE marking and its conformity has been assessed by experts in the areas of electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility and machinery safety. The biocidal product is registered, and our company applies certified management systems in accordance with ISO standards.
Selected members of the project team hold level II security clearances from the Slovak National Security Authority (NBÚ) for the classification level Confidential, including NATO CONFIDENTIAL and EU CONFIDENTIAL authorisations. On handover we provide the relevant certificates, reports and safety documentation.
Components
MEDIfogg® is a permanently installed automated system designed around the layout and operation of the specific facility. Once installed, it becomes part of the building's technical equipment.
01
The piping is permanently routed into the treated rooms and terminates in nozzles that disperse the dry fog evenly.
We determine their number and placement according to the volume, layout and technical conditions of each room.
02
It controls the entire disinfection cycle and evaluates the sensor data. From the Control level, it enables automatic cycle scheduling and identification of authorised operators.
The control unit is located outside the treated room.
03
The reservoir contains a registered biocidal product: stabilised hydrogen peroxide 7.7% with ionised silver (Ag⁺).
A sensor continuously monitors its level and the system sends a timely alert when it needs refilling.
Connection requirements
Parameters that allow the feasibility of the project to be assessed even before the site survey.
Installation
Installation requires building work, the extent of which we determine during the site survey. It is scheduled for a shutdown period, not a normal operating day.
Step 01
We walk through the rooms, measure the volume and propose the number of sections, the piping route and the nozzle layout. You receive a specific proposal for your rooms, including the pipe route.
Step 02
Pipe routing, fitting the nozzles, positioning the control unit and wiring. Installation takes up to 48 hours per theatre, and we schedule it during a shutdown or outside operating hours.
Step 03
We test the system, hand over the test report and train the staff who will operate it.
Integration
From the Professional level, the system can be connected to the building's control room. The disinfection status is then available in an environment you already manage.
A standard industrial protocol; the connection requires no custom development. Available from the Professional level.
At the Enterprise level, the system connects to the building management platform and to the PLC. You see status and alarms where you monitor ventilation and energy.
Diagnostics and most service interventions can be carried out without a site visit. Available from the Professional level.
Service
It is advisable to define the division of responsibilities between the facility and the supplier before commissioning.
Faults
The system reports its own operating status, so you know about a fault before a cycle fails to start.
01
Sensors monitor the operating status and a notification is sent via GSM and, from the Professional level, also to the building's control room.
02
The Professional level provides monitoring, data archiving and remote diagnostics. The Enterprise level allows connection to the building management system, BMS or PLC over an Ethernet network using the Modbus TCP protocol. System status, cycle history and alarms are thus available directly in the facility's existing control room.
03
The service team responds to a reported request within 24 to 48 hours. If the issue cannot be resolved remotely, a Detectair Slovakia service technician comes on site. Travel and the technician's labour are included in the monthly service fee.
